She's FOUR!

I can't believe she's four. She's FOUR! That's almost five. Kindergarten. MY BABY! She's growing up. = ( She might as well be going to college or getting married! Ok, ok maybe it's not that bad, but still....where did the time go? In what seems like the snap of a finger she went from a teensy tiny bundle of baby girl to the bright, funny, BIG girl that stands before me today. Getting ready to go to pre-school, learning how to read and write, playing with Barbies, big girl. Happy Birthday Rebekah!!! I can't wait to see what four has in store for you!

Life's a Beach

We decided to take a little drive down to the coast this past weekend, just for the day. The weather for the 4th of July weekend was beautiful and we had nothing else planned, so why not! We had a blast. It was so relaxing. The beach wasn't nearly as busy as I thought it would be and it was actually warm and quiet and we just..hung out. We played in the sand, threw frisbee, kicked around a beach ball. It was fun. Madelyn was a little unsure of the sand at first but after a few minutes, of which included her and Rebekah falling into the water, she was ok. LOL. Sorry, I don't have a picture of that moment, the water was FREEEEZING and i had to swoop in and save the day before they both caught hypothermia or got so terrified of water that they never wanted to set foot on the beach again. But don't worry, all is well. They laughed it off, PHEW! And luckily (surprisingly) the weather was warm enough to let them dry off in their clothes.
